Political campaigning isn’t normally worth much attention. Especially in these days of positive campaigns where the parties eschew the negative slagging off of yesteryear. So the news coming out of Cornwall is a refreshing change. In a Lib Dem campaign leaflet the representative of Mebyon Kernow (Cornish nationalists in case you wondered – no I didn’t know that either ), Stuart Cullimore was described as “a greasy haired twat”. The Lib Dems have apologised and everyone is expressing righteous indignation but I for one would appreciate more open and honest debate of this nature!
And in what I appreciate is a totally school boy humour moment, they quote the leader of Mebyon Kernow who’s name is Dick Cole. Say it without a gap. Fnar Fnar.
